Visit Flanders
Length 5min. Recorded: 27/05/2022
Flanders Fields is a peaceful region in the West of Belgium interspersed with charming cobble-stoned towns, some of the region’s best brewers, walking and cycling trails. Flanders Fields is also known as a place of remembrance, being part of the former Western Front in World War One. The region bears witness to this history with many memorials and museums and retains a special connection to Australia forged through this period of conflict and sacrifice.
Flanders Fields is a wonderful region to include in a European itinerary – in fact, there has never been a better time to visit. The “Welcome Back to Flanders Fields Pass” is now available for travel up to 30 September 2022 and provides free and discounted entry into a number of museums and experiences across the region, including discounts on guided tours and private guiding to best discover first-hand the stories of the region.
