Part 2: Cool and Contemporary Vienna
In contrast to its imperial heritage, Vienna can also pull off a cool, contemporary side.
Vienna’s districts are colourful and lively and visitors can immerse themselves in the variety and unique atmosphere of Vienna’s neighbourhoods. Contemporary art galleries, bright markets and local designer shops are waiting to be explored.
Hotel Sans Souci, with Vienna’s biggest hotel pool, and the unique designer Hotel Altstadt, are both prime examples of hotels displaying the artsy vibe of the 7th district known for its street art, famous Museums Quarter, galleries, and theatres. Similarly, Hotel Andaz (10th district) and Hotel The Harmonie (9th district) show off their contemporary artworks, individually designed rooms, as well as a focus on sustainable practices and organic products.
